Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains how ايديوسا collects, uses and protects your personal data when you browse the platform or enrol in its courses, in accordance with Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020.

Data we collect

We collect data you give us directly and data generated by your use of the platform:

  • Account and order data: name, mobile number, email, country of residence.
  • Transaction data: the courses ordered, order value and payment method (never any card details).
  • Usage data: pages visited, device and browser type — via analytics cookies and only with your consent.

How we use your data

  • Fulfilling and delivering orders and contacting you about them (calls, WhatsApp or SMS).
  • Student service, including refund requests.
  • Improving the platform and measuring performance — with your consent to analytics cookies.
  • Sending offers and marketing messages — only with your explicit consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Sharing your data

We never sell your personal data. We share it in two cases only: as needed to fulfil your order, with the parties below, and — with your explicit consent — for measurement and advertising, as set out in the next section.

  • Licensed payment providers, to process payments.
  • Messaging providers (WhatsApp / SMS / email), for order notifications.
  • Public authorities, where a legal obligation exists.

Measurement and advertising platforms

If you consent to analytics or marketing cookies in the cookie banner, we send data about your visit and your enrolment — from your browser and from our servers — to the platforms below. Each of them acts as an independent controller of the data it receives, and processes it on servers outside Egypt:

  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — via the Meta Pixel and the Conversions API: your order's value, currency, number and event id, and — when you use the platform's search — the words you searched for. With your consent to marketing cookies we also send your email, your mobile number, your account id with us, your first and last name, your city, your governorate and your country code, each hashed with one-way SHA-256 and never sent in readable form, together with ad click identifiers, your browser type, the checkout page URL and your IP address.
  • TikTok — via the TikTok Pixel and the Events API: the same data on the same terms, except your name, city, governorate and country code, which are sent to Meta only.
  • Google — via Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager: the pages you visited, the browser identifier Google creates, named _ga, and your order's value and number. This category is governed by your consent to analytics cookies alone, not to marketing cookies.
  • Microsoft Clarity — aggregated recording of browsing behaviour (clicks and scrolling), with your consent to analytics cookies.

Payment data

Card details are processed entirely by a payment gateway licensed by the Central Bank of Egypt. Card numbers are never stored on our systems.

Cookies and similar technologies

Necessary cookies always run to power the cart, checkout and security. Analytics and marketing cookies run only with your explicit consent, and you can change your preferences at any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page.

When you arrive from an advertisement, the link carries a click identifier placed there by the advertising platform. We hold it briefly in a first-party cookie on our own platform — readable by no one else, transmitted to no one — for no longer than seven days. It reaches the advertising platform only if you complete an order having consented to marketing cookies; if you refuse, or place no order, it expires on its own and is shared with nobody.

Storage and data transfers

We keep your data for as long as needed for the purposes above or to meet legal and tax obligations. Our data may be hosted with cloud providers outside Egypt with appropriate safeguards in place, and the measurement and advertising data described above travels to those platforms' servers outside Egypt.

In line with Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020, your data is transferred outside Egypt for measurement or advertising purposes only on the basis of your explicit consent, given in the cookie banner — not by your use of the platform and not by your having read this policy. You can withdraw that consent at any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page, at which point we stop sending and delete those platforms' cookies from your browser.

The IP address sent with an enrolment is erased from the order record as soon as that reporting completes, so it is not kept beyond the purpose it was collected for.

Your rights

  • Access your personal data and request a copy of it.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data within the limits the law allows.
  • Withdraw your consent to marketing processing at any time.

Policy updates

We may update this policy from time to time; the version published here is always the one in effect.

Privacy & cookies

We use cookies to run this platform. Necessary cookies are always on — they power the cart, checkout and security. With your permission we also use analytics cookies to understand how the platform is used, and marketing cookies for advertising. You can change your choice at any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page. Privacy Policy
